One child. A workable plan.
Your customized map. $49.
Start with your child: what they hope for, what they love, what worries them, and what they cannot stand. Together we turn that picture into subjects, a starting level, a pace, and a week your family can actually use.
What you get
The $49 includes one 30 minute conversation with you and a written map for one child. We talk about your child and your real week, then I write the plan: what to keep, what to skip, where to begin, and what to watch as you try it.
After our call, I will send your written map within three business days. One round of corrections is included if you reply within seven days of delivery. The map stands on its own. Full teaching materials and ongoing parent coaching are available separately when they fit.
Read a whole map before you buy.
Ruby is a fictional third grader who loves horses. Her sample shows the subject decisions, a workable week, and a first four-week trial. It illustrates the written plan, with no real family or promised result behind it.
Buy the map
After you pay, you pick a time for the call. You will pay on the secure Made For Homeschool checkout. The conversation is included, so there is no second payment to book it. I never see your card details.
Already bought a map here or through Next Chapter Homeschool? Book your included conversation. You do not need to buy again. If you cannot find your receipt, reply to your purchase email or contact me so I can check the order.

How it works
- Buy, then choose a call time. One 30 minute conversation with you. No written questionnaire to finish first.
- We get to know your child. Their hopes, interests, worries, strengths, and dislikes, alongside what you have observed and what is still uncertain.
- We make practical decisions. Subjects, starting level, pace, resources, what to keep or skip, and your real time constraints.
- You get the written map. Within three business days after our call, with a workable week and a first four-week trial you can adjust.
- You run it yourself. Reply within seven days of delivery for the included correction round. There is no requirement to buy anything else.
The honest questions
What if I do not know what my child needs?
Buy the map, then book the 30 minute call. You do not write it out first. You bring your child in mind; I do the asking. Walking in unsure is the normal way to start.
Do you use AI to build this?
AI can help me draft generic explanations and compare resources without identifying your child or family. I make the educational decisions and review the finished map myself. You are talking with me, and I am responsible for what I send.
How is this different from a boxed curriculum?
We choose around your child and the evidence you bring, rather than assuming every subject belongs at the same grade level. A starting point is something to try and check, not a diagnosis or a permanent label.
What does the correction round cover?
Send your corrections together within seven days of delivery so I can fix misunderstandings or missing details in the map. A different child, a new direction, full lesson materials, or continuing support needs its own scope.
How many maps do you work on?
I prepare at most three maps at a time. The three-business-day delivery window starts after our conversation, not when you pay.
Who builds it
I taught middle school U.S. History until this spring, and my wife and I have homeschooled our boys for about fifteen years. I use what I saw in a real classroom, and what works at our own kitchen table.
Choose what comes after the map
Run it yourself
Start with the first four-week trial and use the adjustment rules in your map. Nothing else is required to make the map useful.
Have the teaching materials built
If you want the materials built from your map, one subject or a full grade, those builds are priced by grade and live on the Next Chapter Homeschool store: a single subject or a full grade.
Get support as the parent
For a parent of a child about 11 to 14, the Four-Week Start offers four weekly 30 minute coaching calls, with email and text between them. It is $500. If you bought the map and start within 30 days, your $49 counts toward it, leaving $451 to pay. A high schooler in the same family can be discussed too.
We decide together whether coaching fits. The map conversation can be that fit conversation; you do not need another one just because you bought a map. I coach you, the parent. Teaching materials are a separate service. If you choose coaching, you read the agreement before paying.
Read about the Four-Week Start
If it helps, we can discuss continuing at the end of week four. There is no automatic enrollment or recurring charge.
