Bats, Cats, and a Crooked House
Ages 4 to 7
Eleven Halloween coloring pages for pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade. A grown-up reads one line. Your child colors.

By the end of this
- Your child can color a pumpkin, a bat, and a cat
- Your child can say the moon is a circle and the roof is a triangle
- Your child can color 3 candies and 5 candies
- Your child can circle the group of 3
Your child is ready for this if they
- Can hold a crayon
- Can count to 5 with a grown-up
- Can say a word after hearing it
That list matters more than the age we printed on it. You know which of the two is true of your child.
The words are pumpkin, bat, and cat. The moon is a circle. The web is round. The roof of the crooked house is a triangle, and a window is a square. One page has 3 candies. One page has 5. The last child page says circle the group of 3, with five on top and three on the bottom, the same size. The grown-up key is the last page.
