Fall Science: Six Sheets
Ages 6 to 10
Six fall science sheets for a child about six to ten. Each one teaches on the front and asks on the back.

By the end of this
- Your child can say the yellow was already in the leaf and the red is new
- Your child can say a pumpkin is a fruit because it holds the seeds
- Your child can tell a bat from a bird by the fingers in the wing
- Your child can say why a low moon looks big and orange
Your child is ready for this if they
- Can listen to one page read aloud
- Can write a letter in a small box
- Will go outside and look at a real leaf
That list matters more than the age we printed on it. You know which of the two is true of your child.
Why leaves change, why a pumpkin is a fruit, why a bat is not a bird, why a rising moon looks big and orange, what a spider web is for, and why the days get shorter. The answers sit on two grown-up pages at the back. The last page names the field notebook if you want the longer course.
